According to Church tradition, this icon became famous in the 18th century. One clergyman fell ill; his tongue began to rot. One day, when he was begging Our Lady for help, he saw his guardian Angel. At the sick man's request, the Angel appealed to the Mother of God, after which She appeared to the sick man and, having given him milk from Her breast, became invisible, The clergyman recovered and went to the church, where he stood on the choir next to preying laymen. The icon shows the Mother of God at the bedside of the sick man, who has Her medicinal milk on his lips.
Feast day: September 18 / October 1.
